With the past week’s signings of Ron Brace, George Bussey and Darius Butler, the Patriots have locked up all but three of the members of their 2009 draft class.  Only top pick Patrick Chung, third rounder Tyrone McKenzie and sixth rounder Jake Ingram remain unsigned.

It’ll be interesting to see which players join and leave the team over the next few years, as whether you’re an NFL or partypoker fan, you’ll know that the big names can cause waves whenever they move. At the moment, however, the Patriots seem set to have a great season, and with some new rookie talent, things can only get better.

It’s up to Brace, Bussey and Butler, along with the potential Chung, McKenzie and Ingram to bring to the Patriots something that will justify their signing. Of course, the fans benefit regardless, as the young talent is always worth watching given their penchant for storming the field and making a swift name for themselves when given the opportunity.
