I know it’s been awhile since you heard our lovely voices. Don’t fret, Matt and I are back tomorrow with our rants on Spygate…you won’t want to miss it.
Just wanted to pass along my thoughts on the recent happenings involving the Spygate scandal. First and foremost, what exactly is one of the highest ranking Republicans doing getting involved. Shouldn’t he be more concerned with issues that actually affect the country? He’s just trying to find some way to prove the Pats cheated the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Second, supposedly Matt Walsh is afraid to come forward and wants or needs legal protection. I’m sorry, Bill Belichick may look like a mean guy, but does anyone seriously think this guy has the ways and means to frighten someone like Matt Walsh enough to not come forward in this situation? Even if this guy does get the protection he’s looking for, what’s he got that makes anything worse? So far, the only thing he’s told the public is that he has tapes of the Rams walkthrough before Super Bowl XXXVI. Now pay attention because this is important. NO FOOTBALL TEAM FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO THE NFL USES ANYTHING STRATEGIC IN A WALKTHROUGH. There’s a reason it’s called a walkthrough and the team isn’t practicing at full speed.
Now some advice for my fellow fans. Take the silent resistance route here. Fans of other teams, especially those Giants fans and bandwagoners, will try to get in your face about cheat this and cheat that. Just follow the Patriot Way, remain quiet and I’m confident our team will be doing the talking next season.
What’s up guys? I know it’s been a little while since you’ve heard from Matt and myself. Unfortunately we’ve been a little bit under the weather for the past few days, which has not been helped by our continued depression over Sunday’s loss. However, I’m glad to let you know I’ll be back tomorrow with a brand new show with guest host Peter Papachronopoulos. Pete’s a good friend of mine who we hope will provide some good insight on the Super Bowl. With any luck, Matt’ll be back on Friday where he and I will go through our own recap as well talk with Andrew Filliponi, talk show director at WAER in Syracuse and Giants fan.
I woke up today hoping this would all be a bad dream. Unfortunately it’s a terrible reality. Time to face the jeers of all the fans of all the other teams. My advice to all the Pats fans out there: Relax, there’s no point getting insanely angry over a game. Believe it or not there are more important things in life and besides, there’s always next year.
This is the play that defined the New England Patriots. It broke records, it sealed the perfect season, even the design of the play was simply perfect. Relive the greatest moment of the season so far 3:25 in.
The best play that didn’t break a record. Jabar Gaffney’s catch against the Ravens saved the perfect season. It shows up about 4:45 in.
To kick off the top three we’ve got one of the best returns of the NFL season. Ellis Hobbs sets a record that wouldn’t last long, but it set a great tone for the second half against the Jets. The kick starts about 1:30 in.
By far the most creative play run all year. The best part? A big fat eff you in the face of Anthony Smith. Maybe he’ll think twice before making another guarantee. Scroll forward to 1:50 into the video.
More one-handed magic from the best offseason acquisition of the year, Randy Moss. This time the Dolphins secondary are the victims. The catches show up back to back starting at the 1:30 mark.
This catch doesn’t have a whole lot of significance to it. It’s just the most ridiculous catch by any reciever in the NFL this year. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it, 2:30 into the video.
